Muscovado
Muscovado sugar is a type of unrefined cane sugar with a strong molasses flavour and a high moisture content. It is made from the juice of sugarcane that is boiled down to create a thick, dark syrup. The syrup is then crystallized to produce muscovado sugar.
Muscovado sugar is commonly used in baking, cooking, and for sweetening various dishes such as dark and rich desserts, braai sauces and marinades, caramel and toffee sauces, fruitcakes and coffee and chocolate beverages.

Demerara
Selati Demerara sugar is an unrefined sugar blended with treacle syrup with large, crunchy crystals. It is named after the Demerara colony in Guyana, where this type of sugar was originally produced. It has a subtle toffee or caramel flavour with a distinctive full body taste.
