Tea Infusion for Hot and Cold Days
Ingredients
Ginger, Rooibos, Lemon, Cinnamon and Aniseed:
- 4 Rooibos Teabags
- 2 L Water
- 2 cups Selati Brown Sugar
- Lemon slices
- 500 ml Orange Juice
- 2 Stars Aniseed
- 4 slices of Fresh Ginger
- 4 Cinnamon Barks or If you are in a rush tip of the teaspoon of Cinnamon powder
Method
- In a Saucepan, place all the ingredients except the Orange juice and steep until the aromas and the tea is fragrant.
- Once all the flavours are evident, add the Orange juice and the Lemon slices.
- Simmer until the flavours balance.
- Do not boil as you do not want the lemon to create a bitter note.
- Remove the Lemon slices and allow to cool. Store in the fridge until needed.
