• 2 cups almond milk or regular milk
• 2 large ripe bananas, peeled and sliced, plus extra to garnish
• 2 cups ice cubes
• 1 Tbs cocoa powder
• 2 Tbs Selati brown sugar or Selati sweetener, to taste
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 Tbs flaked almonds, toasted, to garnish (optional)
Place the milk, bananas, ice cocoa powder, sugar or sweetener and vanilla in a blender and blend until smooth and combined. Taste and adjust sweetness then pour into two glasses and serve garnished with toasted almonds and banana slices.
